Dot Stripes

This family of display products utilizes Flip-Disk Technology. Strips are available in two different strip sizes with round stopped disk. The light reflective dot material is available in white and fluorescent yellow. The reverse side of the disk is black.

APPLICATIONS:

Strips are ideal for OEM applications wherein the customer wishes to build their own display boards or panels. These larger arrays are suited to the assembly of either character matrix, line matrix or full matrix signs such as large outdoor full motion monochrome VGA display.

FEATURES:

For variable message signs, the magnetic memory retains the indicatorâs status through shock, vibration or power failure.
Minimal power consumption means low operating costs.
The disk is the only moving part and is rated at 100 million operations.
These strips are extremely rugged and ideal for use in applications over a wide range of environmental conditions.
They are available in 2 sizes: 2.7" and 4.1".
Approximate visibility of a yellow character in a 5x7 matrix is between 30 and 75 m (90 ft â 210 ft).

AVAILABLE COLORS:

Basic available colors are white and yellow. For Larger quantities it is possible to order status indicators in other colors.

REMARK:

* Maximum coil temperature must not exceed 95°C.
* All indicators are current operated devices. Applied voltage must be sufficient to develop minimum specified current over the full operating temperature range. Current pulse durations specified include the rise time.
* All values are measured at stripes connectors.
