Electromagnetic alphanumeric modules

The module are made in a form of 5x7 points matrices. This is a basic module which can be used to build large sport or highway signs. They can show both numerical, graphical and alphanumerical messages.

They are offered in the following sizes:

900XY2 module (height 9", disk diameter 28mm)
1200XY2 module (height 12", disk diameter 38mm)
1600XY2 module (height 16", disk diameter 51mm)
1800XY2 module (height 18", disk diameter 57mm)

Visible at wide range of viewing angles, text and graphics can be presented in an attractive way in various light conditions. Approximate visibility of characters is between 110 m and 275m.

Humidity: 0 - 95% (no condensation)

DRIVING PARAMETERS:

Coil resistance: 20,5Ω ±10% w 20°C
Driving current at pulse end: 0,29 A (min.)
Max coil temperature: N]105°C
Pulse width at 12V: 2ms
Pulse width at 18V: 1ms
Pulse width at 30V: 0.5ms

The table is showing typical voltage cross coil allowing to obtain 0.29A a different pulse width. The voltage is given at coil terminals, At the beginning of the pulse while feeding 0.29A DC, while moving the disk to SET or RESET position.

REMARKS:

Outdoor application requires weatherproof housing.
Condensation at modules must be eliminated by proper ventilation.
